Clients should review their estate plans frequently. Most changes are initiated by the client. Meaning that they notice that decision makers may need to be altered, or addresses, contact information, beneficiaries. From the attorney's perspective, estate plans should be reviewed at least five, if not ten, years -or more frequently- due to changes in statutes to make sure that your documents are fulfilling the needs that were identified when the documents were created.
