Every executor or a personal representative must be represented by an attorney in Florida. The attorney's responsibility in representing the executor or personal representative is to guide that fiduciary, the personal representative, through the court system to file the documents necessary to vest the personal representative's authority, to oversee the preparation of the inventory of the trust assets, to provide the inventory and copies of relevant documents to the beneficiaries, and to provide an accounting of the financial assets up and through the ultimate distribution of those assets to the beneficiaries.
